ESenEM Yoga is honored and proud to support many local organizations and charities in Flagstaff and Scottsdale/Phoenix. Since inception of the studios, we have had a Friday CommUNITY Class where 100% of collections are donated to the selected organization or charity. For the CommUNITY Class, ESenEM donates the studio and instructor for the cause. If you have a class pack, this class doesn't count against it. Additionally, both studios donate items such as mats, classes, apparel, water bottles and more to multiple organizations for their charity events.
We really want to thank our yogis for helping and supporting us in this effort!!!

ESenEM Yoga Flagstaff: Flagstaff High School Humanitarian Club
"The Flagstaff High School Humanitarian Club was established on the belief that all humans deserve certain rights and standards of living, which includes quality housing. Last year, the club build a home for a family in Gros Morne, Haiti. We would like to raise $6,000 again this year to supply another family with a home. By helping families in Haiti build their homes, they can then focus on health care for children, sending children to school and developing small, family businesses. In addition, building a home allows people to have concrete floors instead of dirt. This can lead to a 78% reduction of parasitic infections and an 81% reduction of anemia. With an infant mortality rate six times that of the United States, Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
The family who received the house last year saved money for eight years to get $450 to buy the plot of land. They have five children and had no money left over to buy the building supplies. The importance of our fundraising efforts becomes clear when a simple two-room house brings such big smiles to such beautiful faces. Our club is based out of Flagstaff High School and is sponsored by teachers Jennifer and Mitch Askew."
